Just drop!

Fire is a drag 'n drop FTP upload widget. It has a nice interface and runs nicely. So say hello to Fire. Just drop a file, the gate slides up, the file gets transfered, and you are done. With Fire, you can:

• Upload files to FTP servers
• Open the uploaded files in your bowser
• Copy the files' URLs into your pasteboard
• Save servers and the servers' path, password and username

You can use Fire perfectly for:

• Fast uploading of files to your server, because no FTP client starts up as fast as Fire does.
• Replacing std uploading services like rapidshare
• Using instead of IM transfers

Nothing easier than this

If you start Fire for the first time, it automatically flips to the back.
You just have to enter

• your servers host adress,
• the path,
• your username
• and password

If you want to copy the files' URLs or to open them, you need to specify a html path. You're done!

Multiple server bookmarks

The server will automatically be saved and if you want to delet it, just click the x. To create a new Server just click the triangel and choose "---New---", after entering the information, this server will automatically be added.

Behind the scenes

The server bookmarking is powered by a small PHP script, which writes the data to a CVS file.

Be up to date

Fire is not one of that handy but geek apps. It shows you anything a normal user needs:

• Life Progress
• Status
• Errors

Life progress

Fire shows how much data has been transfered. As the blue arrow gets white and whiter your transfer is finished more and more.

Status

Which file is being transfered right now?! For example, Fire shows "1/2" to keep you up to date

Errors

Although you might not like errors, you'd like to know about them.

Fire is beta software

Fire is currently just a beta release. So there may be some unfixed bugs. Dont't hesitate to contact me if you found one;
